Ree Drummond Reveals Bold Style Choices Amid New Renovation Project: ‘You Only Live Once’

Style mavens! Ree Drummond shared a new decorating hack on Instagram on Tuesday, July 11, after revealing she was renovating her office.

“The dogs will get mud all over this but you only live once,” the Food Network personality captioned a photo of her new space in her Instagram stories.

To add a pop of color to the room, Ree, 54, decided to install geometric floor tiles that perfectly reflect her vibrant personality. The red, blue and yellow hues of the tiles are stunning.

Using primary colors in her projects has definitely become one of Ree’s design signatures since rising to fame on TV in 2011 with The Pioneer Woman. She previously launched a collection of homeware sold at multiple retailers that fuses her love for primary colors and floral patterns.

10 small bedroom color ideas from interior design experts

House Design

Finding the right small bedroom color ideas can be somewhat of a challenge, as these more petite spaces can require more planning than expected.

Depending on the size and the natural light available within the existing bedroom ideas, colors can make the space look larger or smaller, airier or cozier. So making the right choice can make all the difference in the final feeling of the room.

‘Although pale colors will help to make small rooms look larger, dark colors in small bedrooms can look stunning and create an atmosphere that’s perfect for enhancing intimacy, feeling cozy and restful sleep,’ advises Marianne Shillingford, creative director, Dulux. ‘Decide how you want to feel in your bedroom and work from there.’

There are two options, if you want a loftier feel then choose shades that help to create the illusion of space, or you might be hankering after a cosier space that

Homeowners easily influenced by property renovation shows: Study

House Renovation

CHICAGO (NewsNation) — Home makeover shows might influence owners to make choices that prioritize future buyers instead of what makes them happy in the present, a new study first reported in the Washington Post found.

Dr. Annetta Grant, an assistant professor of markets, innovation and design at Bucknell University, took a closer look at this with Jay Handelman, an associate professor of marketing at the Smith School of Business.

Grant’s research looked into how this type of media is making homeowners worried about being judged or scrutinized and how some go the neutral route while renovating and decorating instead of making bolder choices that express who they are.

After talking to 17 homeowners doing renovations, Grant found most of them wanted to make smart choices so their homes could be worth more down the line.

HOW TO MAKE PLEAT CURTAINS WITHOUT SEWING

Posted on 20/07/2023 By Kartika

When I started planning our laundry room update, I knew I needed a solution to hiding all of our shoes under the benches. I’m constantly lining it up and trying to arrange it and it always looks like a hot mess. I love the look of a sink skirt and I think it would be really cute to make a shoe skirt! So I got to work on making no-sew blinds to hide all our shoes!

Exhibit A: I’m honestly shocked that it took me 7 years to decide to cover it. We use this room SO MUCH and no matter how hard I try, it’s impossible to keep shoes neat and tidy. I wanted something that was still functional but also beautiful and curtains seemed like a good option. It would hide the mess but would be easy to pull aside and reach for our shoes when we need

The house defines dialogue between existing structural grids and new different punctures infused for communication. The design shows a thoughtful approach to addressing challenges inside a built mass, creating opportunities for visually open spaces by adding colorful graphics. As part of climatic considerations, passive design strategies and planning principles have been incorporated.
